What is /fightmode?

IORP is heavy roleplay server, All players are in character mode by default. We sometimes refer to our game mode as Real Life Mode instead of roleplay.
Question: than what is /fightmode?
Answer: Perhaps some of you might wonder then, why a heavy roleplay server would have an option like /fightmode. Understanding what is allowed or not allowed in this mode is the easiest way to figure out.
We created this command for the following reason: to prevent deathmatch.
What’s allowed in fight mode (/fightmode)?

The players who are in fight mode cannot be seen in your map, and those who can be seen are not fighting.

The server will ban you if you kill a player who is not in fight mode due to a deathmatch.

You are permitted to engage in combat with other players who are also in fight mode.

By turning on fight mode, you acknowledge that you accept our terms.

How do I find out if others have enabled fight mode?

When someone activates fight mode, the server sends a roleplay message.
